Capabilities include AI to create and deploy digital assistant features within a larger system. The Product Manager guides the delivery of assigned features and components, ensuring alignment between sprint goals, product vision, and organizational priorities. This role partners closely with development teams to refine user stories, accept deliverables, and adjust plans based on feedback and evolving requirements. The Product Manager ensures features meet user needs, integrate effectively with workflows, and deliver measurable value to stakeholders. A stretch goal for the Product Manager would be to lean in on automated testing and learn and implement tools like X-Ray to improve the accuracy and speed of testing.
What Your Day Might Include…
- Guide the delivery of assigned features and components, aligning sprint goals with product vision and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with development teams to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
- Accept deliverables, validate outcomes against requirements, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Adjust plans and priorities based on stakeholder feedback, evolving mission needs, and technical constraints.
- Support backlog management by clarifying requirements, prioritizing work, and resolving dependencies.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to product leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and data teams to ensure product components integrate seamlessly.
- Promote Agile principles across the team, supporting continuous delivery and iterative improvement.
- Ensure compliance with policy, accessibility, and security standards in delivered features.
- Engage with end users and stakeholders to validate product direction and ensure adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; a master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of directly related experience in product management, business analysis, or Agile delivery.
- Demonstrated experience guiding Agile teams and delivering features in iterative development environments.
- Strong skills in backlog management, user story refinement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Mural.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance business, technical, and policy requirements in product delivery.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in dynamic, mission-driven environments.
