SWBC is seeking a talented individual to work with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to deliver data-driven solutions that impact business performance, enhance business decisions, and support the overall data strategy of the organization. This role will leverage Snowflake, dbt, and Omni to develop consumption and semantic models, manage dbt pipelines, and optimize SQL/Python scripts to enable the organization to increase speed to insight and develop self-service BI capabilities.

Essential duties include the following:
- Improve and maintain the infrastructure in our data stack, which includes Snowflake, AWS, Fivetran, dbt+, and Omni.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define, establish, and measure KPIs and metrics.
- Develop and deploy business-driven consumption and semantic models for Data Analytics, Data Science, and BI development use cases.
- Ensure a high level of quality, performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in our data stack as we scale.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of documentation, governance, security and best practices.
- Clear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topics.
- Track record of working autonomously with organizational and time management skills.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data model development and best practices across various engineering tools.
- Proven experience communicating results of analyses to technical and non-technical leadership to influence strategy.
- Strong proficiency in various data-specific languages such as Python, SQL, and Jinja.
- Ability to interpret ambiguity with minimal direction.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. of files, supplies, documents, or other related items
