UX Designer, Cape Town (all genders)

Your role

• Acting as the subject matter expert for UX design in our growing team, you will own the design of intuitive, user-centric digital experience across web, mobile, and product platforms for all FRASER offices and our international clients. 
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitor analysis to inform design decisions  
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs 
• Collaborate with UI designers, developers, and product teams to bring concepts to life  
• Translate complex requirements into simple, engaging user experiences 
• Continuously iterate and improve designs based on user feedback and data insights 
• Ensure consistency across digital products through design systems and guidelines 
• Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and best practices  

Your profile

• Degree or diploma in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field 
• Additional certifications in UX/UI tools or methodologies are advantageous 
• Proven experience as a UX Designer (mid to senior level) in an agency or product owner environment 
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centred design processes and solutions 
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar 
• Solid understanding of user research, usability testing, and interaction design principles 
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows 
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
• Experience in working for global brands and in international teams is a plus
