What you’ll do:

We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst – Pharmacy Business Development & Property to join our Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager – Pharmacy Business Development & Property, you’ll play an important role in supporting commercial decision-making and the identification and delivery of business opportunities across our growing pharmacy and property network.

You’ll partner closely with our Pharmacy Business Development and Property & Network Development teams, turning financial analysis into clear commercial insights and robust business cases. From evaluating new customer opportunities and retention proposals to modelling new stores and refurbishments, you’ll help shape investment decisions and support our strategic network growth aspirations.

Key activities include:

  • Partner with Pharmacy Business Development and Property & Network Development teams to provide commercial insights that support robust decision-making
  • Prepare financial models and commercial evaluations for new customer opportunities, customer retention, new stores, refurbishments, franchise and company store proposals
  • Develop robust business cases and provide clear recommendations to support investment decisions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning across key business drivers
  • Prepare variance analysis, performance commentary and regular commercial reporting for senior management
  • Support pricing and margin analysis to help develop commercially viable investment options
  • Track expenditure against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Help improve commercial reporting, modelling tools and processes, including opportunities to automate manual activities

What you’ll bring:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar analytical finance role
  • Strong financial modelling and scenario analysis capability
  • Proven experience in financial evaluation of projects (NPV, ROC etc.) and initiatives and the preparation of formal business cases
  • Advanced Excel and extensive financial modelling experience with large and multiple data sources
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in ERP and BI tools (experience in SAP, BPC, MicroStrategy, PowerBI is highly
  • regarded)
  • Experience within FMCG, Retail or Pharmaceutical industries and/or at an ASX listed
  • company is advantageous
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • CPA/CA qualification
