Position Overview
Edgesource is seeking a senior-level Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the security accreditation of new systems. The ISSE will be responsible for supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and ensuring systems satisfy applicable security requirements required for accreditation.
This position requires an experienced security professional capable of working with technical and program stakeholders throughout the system accreditation process.
Job Duties
- Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities for new systems.
- Coordinate security accreditation efforts throughout the system lifecycle.
- Support the preparation and review of information required for system accreditation.
- Work with technical teams to identify and address security requirements associated with new systems.
- Track security-related requirements and accreditation activities through completion.
- Coordinate with technical and program stakeholders throughout the A&A process.
- Assist teams in resolving security issues that could affect system accreditation.
- Maintain documentation supporting system security and accreditation activities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- 7+ years of relevant information systems security experience.
- Experience supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) or system accreditation activities.
- Experience supporting the security requirements of new systems.
- Ability to work with technical and program stakeholders throughout the accreditation process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
