Job Description

Role purpose

The ITD Delivery Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of IT projects and services ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget and maintain operational continuous improvement of commercial systems and applications within Syngenta Thailand.

Serving as the primary bridge between local business users, and regional/global IT technical teams, this role ensures high system availability, data integrity, and optimal user adoption. By deeply understanding commercial and sales processes, the incumbent collaborates with leadership to optimize both system configurations and business workflows, driving efficiency and effectiveness for the Thailand commercial organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Syngenta master data management processes and conduct regular data quality reviews and audits.
  • Manage, design, and maintain business-critical reports and dashboards to support commercial decision-making
  • Data Governance & Master Data Management
  • Act as the primary local Point of Contact (PoC) and escalation point for internal users regarding system maintenance, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Partner with other functions to identify process bottlenecks and align system capabilities with business workflows to enhance the quality, speed, and efficiency of sales activities.
  • Application Service Delivery & Support
  • Lead the local development & deployment the localization system and rollouts; design, build, and scale our developed applications using Microsoft Power Platform components, such as Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI while managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Gather local business requirements for system enhancements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
  • Direct and manage external IT vendors, consultants, and system integrators to ensure local projects, system enhancements, and deployments are executed on time, within scope, and in alignment with business requirements. Act as the local escalation point for vendor-related delivery risks.
  • Partner closely with the others function to drive user adoption, deliver training, and create change management materials for new features or applications.

Qualifications

  • Vendor Management & Accountability: Ability to drive external partners to meet strict timelines, manage vendor deliverables, and proactively mitigate risks of project delays
  • Process Excellence: Promote continuous improvement by utilizing data from retrospectives and establishing standard practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for business leaders, vendors to manage expectations

Critical Knowledge: 

  • Low-code/no-code solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform, AI Builder and Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Understand sales system & CRM- B2B, B2C ecommerce platform and order-to-cash process
  • Digital productivity tools; Figma, Canva, Mural, Claude, etc
  • Understand database concepts & datawarehouse (SAP cloud analytic, Redshift, GCP preferred)
  • Dashboard platform (Qliksence, PowerBI preferred)
  • Understanding of the agrochemical industry

Critical Experience: 

  • System Support & Delivery: 3 to 5 years of experience managing, supporting, or implementing SAP HANA, PowerApp, PowerAutomate, Sharepoint development, Distributor portal (SFDC), CRM platforms within a commercial environment.
  • Application development & system analyst experienced
  • Proven track record of working in a multinational company, successfully collaborating with local, regional, or global IT delivery teams.
  • Experience supporting local system rollouts, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and delivering user training.
  • Proven experience in managing third-party vendors and external contractors to successfully execute IT projects on time, ensuring deliverables meet quality and technical standards.
