Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions by collaborating within a dynamic and diverse international team. You will contribute to quality throughout the software development lifecycle, participate in defining testing approaches, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Execute functional, integration, regression, end-to-end (E2E) and API testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint activities, requirement refinement sessions, and quality discussions.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable.
• Prepare test summaries, quality reports, and improvement recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with German-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience in software testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Good knowledge of end-to-end (E2E) and API testing.
• Experience with database testing and SQL queries.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps or similar ALM tools (advantageous).
• Basic programming knowledge in C#, Python, JavaScript or a similar language.
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English.

Nice to have

• Test automation experience using Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with AI, data, or cloud-based applications.
• Exposure to CI/CD practices and DevOps environments.
