Sr QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience using Playwright. You will be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on ensuring product quality through robust test automation and efficient QA practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive automated testing efforts across the platform (80–90% automation, 10–20% manual).

• Contribute to social media reporting initiatives.

• Conduct thorough automation code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright using TypeScript

• Proficiency in Playwright Trace Debugging

• Experience with BrowserStack Test Management

• Experience with BrowserStack Automate

• Proven ability to scope and implement automation requirements for new features

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals

• Ability to design and implement engineering solutions in lower development environments that bypass in-place security defenses

• Experience setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration systems

• Skilled in reporting, tracking, and triaging bugs, and solving complex technical problems

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail

 

Nice to Haves:

• Hands-on experience with native mobile and web QA automation (Appium, WDIO)

• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD
