Role Summary

Security is core to the design and development pipeline across our Engineering organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Security, you will help secure all applications, products, and platforms while protecting critical assets. You will collaborate across departments—including Engineering, Product, Finance, IT, and HR—to ensure software is secure by design from development to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture & Design: Conduct security design reviews, threat modeling, and cloud architecture assessments.
  • Incident Response & Monitoring: Respond to security alerts/incidents and support ongoing operational tool management.
  • Consultation & Advisory: Partner with network, systems, and software engineers to provide guidance on security best practices and secure development.
  • AI & LLM Security Integration: Evaluate and secure AI/LLM-based workflows, agentic automation, and internal tool integrations.
  • Code & Vulnerability Reviews: Perform security-focused code reviews, evaluate risks using OWASP (including the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs), MITRE ATLAS, and manage SAST/DAST tool

We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, risk assessment, risk treatment, data protection, and incident response.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CCSK, CRISC, or CISA are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS, firewall administration, patch management, anti-malware, and network security.
  • Experience with SIEM solutions (e.g., Google SecOps, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, HMAC) and modern vulnerability management.
  • Familiarity with LLM application security risks (e.g., direct/indirect prompt injection, sensitive data leakage, improper output handling, supply chain risks in open-source AI models/package
  • Working knowledge of industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 1/SOC 2, SOX, OWASP LLM Top 10)
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, high integrity, and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters.
