DevOps Engineer

Project Role : DevOps Engineer Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats. Summary: As a ServiceNow Senior Developer, a typical day involves designing and implementing new development tools and infrastructure to support software development processes. This role requires managing continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines, while ensuring the security and reliability of systems. The position also includes collaborating with various teams to maintain and enhance cloud environments and container orchestration platforms, focusing on creating efficient and secure workflows that support rapid software releases and operational stability.

Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline development and deployment processes. - Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and pipeline issues to maintain system performance and availability. - Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team. - Assist junior team members in understanding and adopting DevOps practices and tools.

Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and methodologies. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration technologies. - Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and automation frameworks. - Knowledge of security best practices in software development and deployment environments.

Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM). - This position is based at our BDC7B - SEZ location. - A 15 years full time education is required.
