Responsibilities

Ready To Keep Healthcare Data Pipelines Clean, Timely, and Working the Way Clients Depend On?

Why This Role Matters

When data file exchanges break down - eligibility mismatches, EDI errors, failed SFTP transfers - the downstream impact hits real members and real clients. As a Data Analyst I on the TPA DataOps team, you're the person who catches those issues early, digs into the root cause, and gets things back on track. Precision here isn't just good practice; it's what keeps the operation running.

What You'll Actually Do

Monitor and manage data file exchanges: Track ongoing file movements between clients, vendors, and internal systems - identifying and resolving errors in SFTP connections, import/export files, and eligibility files before they escalate.

Analyze and troubleshoot EDI transactions: Identify technical issues arising from enrollment changes or improper EDI setup, and coordinate with engineering partners to resolve them. Coordinate ongoing EDI testing, implementations, and upgrades.

Validate data against business requirements: Compare reports and data files against documented requirements to confirm quality and surface gaps — keeping pipelines accurate and compliant.

Communicate status clearly and consistently: Keep end users, the Team Lead, and the DataOps Manager informed on task and issue status — translating technical findings into plain language that operational teams can act on.

Maintain cross-departmental workflow knowledge: Build and sustain a working understanding of how data moves across operational departments so you can troubleshoot in context, not in isolation.
