Brief Overview of Position:

Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for a Cloud Architect role to support a federal client where we are focused on delivering innovative operations and solutions through proven successful methods. The Senior Cloud Architect provides architecture, engineering, implementation, configuration, and operational support for the FTC's Azure-based cloud analytics environment. This role supports cloud infrastructure deployment, landing zone configuration, storage architecture, networking, disaster recovery, identity integration, and cloud optimization activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain: Azure landing zones, Resource groups, Networking environments, Security controls
  • Deploy and support: Compute services, Storage services, Backup solutions, Disaster recovery capabilities
  • Integrate Azure services with: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Sentinel, FTC security tools
  • Support: Storage optimization, Cost optimization, Scalability planning, Resiliency improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years designing enterprise cloud environments.
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience with identity, networking, and security architecture.
