Project Financial Analyst
The Financial Analyst will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting at RAE Security with a focus on project reporting and inventory analytics. This person will provide Management with analysis and recommendations for increasing productivity, reducing costs and automated processes.

Responsibilities:• Provide analytical support in connection with projects. Work closely with the sales and project management teams on project costing and performance, identifying areas of concern and making recommendations for improvements.
- Analyze Inventory data and produce reports, including key metrics on usage, turns, etc.
- Sets up and properly formats project financial forecasts to meet both the internal team and client reporting needs
- Develops and maintains positive professional relationships both internally and externally
- Assists with the development of contract abstracts
- Assists with internal and external audits while responding as directed
- Ensures timely management of accounts receivable and payables
- Manage the project financial closeout process
- Reviews Work in Process (WIP) on assigned projects and thoroughly understands and explains variances and balances
- Compile comparative analysis as directed by Management
Skills:• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Netsuite experience including report writing and query writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of the overall project execution process including budgeting, project forecasting, cost control, schedule, anticipated cost, and project profitability
- Ability to communicate effectively, listens to understand, and can clearly convey information in all forms based on the audience to ensure shared meaning of the message
- Ability to solve problems by identifying, prioritizing, and implementing alternatives for solution
- Ability to identify opportunities for new and improved ways of doing things that result in value added, unique and differentiated solutions
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. 5+ year of related experience.
