What you are going to do
- NN Group is currently transforming and rebuilding the mortgage valuation process. As part of this initiative, we are creating a new internal mortgage valuation platform that will replace an existing external vendor solution.
- As a Data Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, completeness, and accuracy of mortgage valuation data throughout the end-to-end valuation and reporting process. You will work closely with data providers, Finance, Risk, Technology teams, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data delivery, successful model execution, and high-quality reporting outputs.
- You will also join the project during the build phase, giving you the opportunity to contribute to process design, testing, implementation, and future improvements from the very beginning.
Your responsibilities
- Execute operational activities and controls during monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles in a timely, accurate, and consistent manner.
- Monitor and validate mortgage valuation data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with reporting requirements.
- Review and analyze Data Quality reports and investigate data anomalies, missing data, or inconsistencies coming from internal and external providers.
- Perform reconciliations, control checks, and root cause analyses to identify and resolve data issues.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, external data providers, and IT teams to resolve data delivery and quality issues.
- Support the end-to-end mortgage valuation process, from data collection and validation through model execution and output verification.
- Validate calculation outputs and reporting results to ensure they are in line with business expectations and reporting requirements.
- Support system testing, Functional Acceptance Testing, implementation activities, and operational readiness of the new platform.
- Maintain process documentation, governance procedures, operational controls, and evidence for audit and reporting purposes.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to future enhancements of the mortgage valuation process, including methodology changes, new reporting requirements, and system improvements.
- Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, helping translate business requirements into practical operational solutions.

In addition, you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Around 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, Operations, Reporting, Data Quality, Testing, or a similar field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured way of working.
- Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with databases and data validation activities.
- Experience investigating data issues, performing reconciliations, and analysing operational or reporting processes.
- The ability to understand business requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement attitude.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Experience in financial services, banking, mortgage products, valuation, risk, reporting, or data management is an advantage but not required.
- Experience with Agile delivery, testing, FAT/UAT activities, or project implementation work is a plus.
