We are looking for a Principal Technical Product Manager to lead the development and scaling of product solutions that power key customer experiences and supply chain decisions. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with applied/data science, engineering, operations, other product managers, and executive teams to bring AI/ML products to market, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance our platform capabilities.

Duties will include formulating a business vision for your product domain, gathering business and functional requirements from internal customers and end-users, and translating those requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable, and supportable solutions that work well with a range of complex systems. The Technical Product Manager serves as the technical as well as business lead throughout the entire development lifecycle including scoping, planning, conceptualizing, designing, testing, documenting, and shipping the product to the end customer, keeping in mind issues around tech debt, scalability, performance and latency, and compatibility with technology and business goals.

Key job responsibilities - Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for cross-functional AI/ML initiatives for the digital supply chain - Collaborate with engineering and applied/data science teams to translate business problems into model requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product goals - Work closely with science, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and experiments - Own the full product lifecycle: from data acquisition, development, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring

About the team We are responsible for the end-to-end digital video supply chain that powers Prime Video. Our vision is to build the most efficient, flexible, innovative, highly performant digital content supply chain in the world that is the backbone of Prime Video’s delightful customer experience, and provides content creators the tools, building blocks, and distribution to reach familiar and new audiences, tell new kinds of stories, and inspire them to think differently.

Basic Qualifications: - 8+ years of technical product or program management experience - 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience - Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Bachelor's degree - Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority - Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement - Experience interpreting and communicating analytics

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
