POSITION SUMMARY

This role oversees the planning and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, schedules, budgets, and company objectives. The Senior Electrical Project Manager provides strategic leadership across multiple projects, maintains safety and quality standards, drives financial performance, and develops project teams.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead multiple electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Define scope, schedules, and budgets while managing risk and long‑lead items
  • Oversee estimating, cost control, and overall financial performance
  • Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and all applicable codes and regulations
  • Coordinate with clients, GCs, engineers, and inspectors to deliver high‑quality work
  • Plan and allocate labor, materials, and subcontractors effectively
  • Lead contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Mentor and oversee project teams, Project Manager(s), and Assistant Project Manager(s) while driving safety, productivity, and profitability

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 10+ years managing commercial electrical work required
  • Running at least $5 million projects required
  • Programs experience preferred: 
  • Procore
  • Computer Ease /Deltek
  • Trimble Accubid
  • Bluebeam
  • Clearstory
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment
  • Ability to present in a professional manner and represent the company image

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Office work requires sitting for periods of time and use of a computer keyboard and screen. This role stands, walks and may move boxes of files and records weighing 30 pounds or less.
