What will you be doing? 
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Manager (UC) to support the development and evolution of our UC, CX and Contact centre portfolio. This role is ideal for someone early in their product management career who is passionate about communication technologies such as voice, video, messaging, and contact centre platforms.
The products will be delivered across all sales channels of Babble. Thereafter the role will manage and monitor the product(s) in life. The success of the role will be dependent on working in virtual teams and influencing key stakeholders from around the business.
You will work closely with senior product managers, operations, sales, and partners to deliver products that enhance communication experiences for all Babble customers. The role will be internal and external facing, providing assistance to the sales community is a vital part of the position.
The role will incorporate vendor relationships. The successful applicant will be key in maintaining aligned relationships with vendors that support the product area.
 
Accountabilities and Deliverables: 
- At all times working toward making the product & services portfolio ‘Easy to buy and easy to sell’ across all relevant Business Units
- Supporting the sales community
- Input into the creation of cost models and pricing tools
- Leading virtual teams to deliver products
- Stakeholder engagement
- Reporting on product portfolio
- Create and manage product roadmaps
- Implementation of and collaboration on best practice for lifecycle management
- Business improvement
- Identification and introduction of new product / capabilities to be offered.
- Support the senior product managers in the creation of business plans to support training and investment in new capabilities
- To liaise with manufacturers for technical updates and support for the technologies used
- Vendor management including but not exclusive to, monthly meetings, sales tracking, business plan creation
- Travelling between different Babble and vendor offices in order to efficiently conduct business
 
What success looks like in this role
- Successfully complete product development within defined time scales
- Ensure that the products contribute to the business targets for in year growth
- Support business transformation projects to improve efficiency within the business, within specified timescales

- Excellent oral and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a message to a mixed audience, from managerial/strategic personnel to technical personnel

Qualifications
- Some experience in product lifecycle management
- Be technically and commercially aware of the market and have a full understanding of the technical, business and commercial propositions on offer
- A good knowledge of Microsoft tools to create associated collateral for the support of both new product release and in life product updates
- Knowledge of Sales/Operational processes and their interaction with the Project Delivery Teams
- Good project management skills, not essential but will benefit the employee in this role
