Restoration Project Manager
Michael & Son Services has been serving homeowners since 1976. We're looking for an experienced Restoration Project Manager who can manage restoration projects from the initial inspection through completion, billing, and payment.
You'll be responsible for keeping multiple projects moving, communicating with customers and insurance partners, coordinating crews and vendors, and making sure the work is properly documented and completed.

What You'll Do
- Inspect new restoration losses and determine the work needed
- Explain the restoration process to customers and sell recommended work
- Develop and review scopes of work and make sure crews understand what needs to be done
- Manage multiple projects at once
- Keep customers updated throughout the project
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, agents, property managers, and other partners
- Monitor drying progress, schedules, jobsite conditions, and changes to the scope of work
- Make sure files are properly documented and ready for billing
- Follow up on anything holding up billing or payment
- Identify problems early and take action to keep projects moving
- Make sure completed work meets company standards before the project is closed
- Participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- Experience managing projects in restoration, construction, insurance, or a related field
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple active projects independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with customers, crews, and other professionals
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Able to travel throughout Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and surrounding service areas
- Ability to work a rotating On Call Schedule
You'll Stand Out If You Have
- Residential water mitigation or restoration experience
- Experience inspecting and selling restoration work
- IICRC certifications
- Knowledge of structural drying and water mitigation
- Experience with Xactimate, Encircle, or similar software
Pay & Benefits
$50,000 Base Salary + Commission
You'll earn 2.5% commission when you sell a job and another 2.5% commission when the job is collected on.
