Description
Wild Global is proud to design, develop and source consumer-driven products that meet our business partners’ needs and drive growth within the home improvement sector. We cut out the layers, delivering nothing but great service and high-quality products at the right price. To help us continue to expand our offerings we are in search of a Product Manager to lead a cross-functional development team for their respective product lines.
The Product Manager owns the product lifecycle from concept to delivery on shelf and beyond, including line reviews, packaging, sourcing, supplier negotiation, cost analysis, and after-sale support. This role is a fit for someone who moves quickly, anticipates several steps ahead, and can shift focus between projects without losing track of the details. It also requires strong problem-solving instincts, including the ability to spot issues before they escalate, weigh trade-offs across cost, quality, and timeline, and make sound decisions under pressure, often with incomplete information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Set and execute line review strategy for assigned categories; build presentations covering product strategy, competitive positioning, and financial rationale.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages, coordinating cross-functionally with sales, sourcing, logistics, and creative teams.
· Build and issue RFQs, negotiate pricing/lead times/quality with suppliers, and manage sampling and pre-production approvals to stay on schedule.
· Calculate fully landed product costs and build clear financial summaries to support pricing and margin decisions.
· Research competitive products and direct packaging, marketing, and in-store merchandising to drive sell-through.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for post-launch customer issues
· Lead ad-hoc, cross-category projects in addition to and outside of assigned categories
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field
· Minimum 5+ years of product management experience, ideally with major US retailers.
· Experience with product development principles and fully landed cost analysis
· Strong sense of urgency, fast independent decision-making, and proactive, big-picture thinking that anticipates needs and their impact on cost, timing, and customers.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate competing priorities and make sound judgment calls under pressure
· Skilled multi-tasker who leads through influence rather than direct authority; coachable, adaptable, and service-obsessed.
· Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with incomplete information.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
· Up to 20% travel, domestic and international.
