Job Title: Finance Analyst Intern, APAC & MEA Logistics

Reporting to: Eugene Leong, APAC & MEA Logistics Finance Manager

Brief overview of Internship

You will shoulder responsibilities pertaining to month-end closing and business performance reviews. You will be exposed to Coty’s logistics business across APAC region and take on projects to help you gain relevant experience to hone your finance & analytical skills. This will help prepare you to enter any fast-paced work environment. You are expected to take initiative, be curious to learn, and be mindful of deadlines. During this internship, you will get to learn the ins and outs of finance and logistics and apply the skills that you have learnt in school in an actual work setting.

Purpose:

To support the Logistics Finance Team to manage the logistics finance within APAC & MEA region.

  • This job provides learning opportunities to develop and automate financial reports and compare with budget and prior year.
  • The candidate to learn analytical skills from tracking to reviewing performance which requires liaising with personnel from global to local across different functions.
  • He/ she is required to support the financial planning process through month end close and forecast.
  • The candidate will support projects with guidance from the manager to ensure maximum learning is acquired throughout the internship.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Analysis – The intern will be assigned based on project basis to study in depth into business performance thus identify category opportunity/ risk; eventually provide suitable recommendations for the business
  • Project Management – the candidate will be assigned on specific projects throughout the internship. Ultimately, he/ she will have full ownership to manage & execute the plan with close guidance from the manager.
  • Standard Report & Presentation – to prepare standard report/ dashboard to enable business performance to be reviewed on timely manners.
  • Operation and execution support
  • Preparation of journal entries for month-end closing
  • to provide support to the manager on day-to-day operations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to commit for at least 6 months for a full-time internship (Jan 2027 to Jun 2027)
  • Undergraduates preferably in Finance/Accounting/Logistics
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Office, especially Excel & PowerPoint.

  • V-lookup, Sum-ifs, Index-match, If-error, count-ifs, IF, count, average etc…
  • Collaborative, proactive, creative & independent.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills
  • Good command of both spoken & written English.
