Purpose of the job:
Responsible to develop and mantain the project schedule in order to manage efficiently the commitments of the project (tender, contract or program) in terms of time and cost and to take part in the RC workload construction.
The Project Planning Manager is in charge of the customer schedule that has to be coherent with the internal schedule (also for ADM developments and for other PUs' contributions) and the ATI/JV operational constraints, so he/she has to interface with other Companies/PUs and with the Customer, to build scenarios and to rightly manage the communication strategy defined by PMs and Customer Director.
From an internal point of view he/she manages the schedule in PMS, with Resource Mgmt and related KPIs; so the activity is key for the project/program management, for the construction of RC workload and the resource mgmt at team/dept level and also for WPRs (above all after the IFRS15 introduction).
Knowledge and experience:
- Project Management and Industrial backgrounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, excellent team worker
- Conflict management and multi-tasking
- Ability to challenge project team and to be highly proactive in proposing solutions
- Ability to juggle with schedules and changing project goals
- Able to think critically and use good judgement
- Excellent use of MSP and P6
- Good overall knowledge of railway products and systems
Salary Range
