The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the safe, profitable, and efficient execution of electrical projects, ensuring high levels of customer and employee satisfaction. This role oversees safety, quality, productivity, and financial performance, while also driving sales growth and finding new business opportunities. This position serves as a mentor to others and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, aligning all activities with the company's mission and values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project & Financial Management:
- Manage financial aspects of projects including costs, billing, collections, and forecasting to maintain profitability
- Track accounts receivable and working capital
- Evaluate project goals based on labor, materials, and equipment resources; develop and implement strategies for efficiency
- Manage change orders and pursue additional work opportunities during project
- Share manpower, resources, and tools across branches and departments
Customer Satisfaction & Development:
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers; ensure high quality service is provided
- Take prompt action to resolve any customer complaints
- Survey all customers; achieve minimum satisfaction ratings and follow up on feedback for continuous improvement
- Prospect for new business leads and develop new business through interaction and networking
Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination:
- Pre-plan and identify methods to eliminate hazards daily by work tasks.
- Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others and bringing it to their attention.
- Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
- Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.
- Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management/Sciences, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, etc.), or related preferred
- Extensive experience/knowledge of electrical construction, finance, and management
Experience, Skill and Abilities
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity - both are non-negotiable
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to apply innovative and effective leadership techniques to maximize employee performance
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the company and customers
Physical Requirements
- Office and field environment requiring sitting and standing. Travel to various work sites is essential, exposing employee to outdoor elements, noise and the need to stand and walk
