Purpose of the Job
Support Seoul Branch strategic data initiatives and regional transformation programs by acting as a critical link among local business users, Seoul ITD, regional teams and external vendors. Perform system initiatives, business analyst, data analysis, data quality validation, reporting enhancement and data visualization, with a primary focus on APAC Data Warehouse (DWH) initiatives and T24-related data requirements. Translate business needs into clear business analysis, data requirements, coordinate testing and implementation, and help establish sustainable data governance and reporting practices at the branch level and extra. Develop progressively as a local & regional data resource with sound knowledge of APAC DWH capabilities that may be leveraged across locations.
Responsibilities
Strategic Based on an in-depth understanding of branch strategy and regional initiatives, support and promote data-driven system initiatives. Contribute to APAC DWH implementation, enhancement and adoption at Seoul Branch. Identify opportunities to improve management information, data utilization and reporting through analytics and visualization
Financial Through efficient system operations and development, comply with the expense and investment budget and cut cost. Minimize penalty cost close to zero because of system incidents and cyber security incidents. Improve efficiency and cost control through reporting automation, standardization and reuse of regional data capabilities. Support timely identification and resolution of data issues to reduce operational, regulatory and project-delivery risks. Perform assigned activities in line with approved project and expense budgets.
Customer Develop and provide products and services to fulfill needs from corporate customers of MUFG Seoul branch and continuously improve them. Gather, analyze and document business, operational and regulatory data requirements from branch users. Deliver accurate, timely and understandable data analysis, dashboards and reports to support decision-making. Coordinate data mapping, reconciliation, validation and SIT/UAT activities with users, regional teams and vendors.
People Act as a communication bridge between Seoul Branch users and regional members, including meetings and documentation in English.

Job Requirements
- System Development
- Core Knowledge and Skills on;
- Data analysis, SQL querying, data validation and reconciliation
- Data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau or equivalent tools
- Business requirement analysis, documentation and stakeholder communication
- Banking business processes and management/regulatory reporting
Working Knowledge and Skills on;
- + Data warehouse concepts, data modelling, data quality and data governance
- + Project management, SDLC, SIT/UAT and vendor coordination
- + Information security, outsourcing and applicable legal/regulatory requirements
- Fluent English, Korean
- Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Preferred: experience or professional training in banking data, SQL, BI/data visualization or data warehouse solutions.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business analysis, BI/reporting, data warehouse projects or banking IT.
- Preferred: experience supporting regional or multinational projects; exposure to APAC DWH, T24 or core banking data.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical data and reporting solutions
- Ability to analyze data discrepancies, identify root causes and coordinate resolution
- Ability to communicate clearly with local users, regional teams and technical vendors in English
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables with accuracy, ownership and appropriate escalation
- Data-driven, detail-oriented and intellectually curious
- Proactive, collaborative and comfortable working across cultures and functions
- Willing to challenge issues constructively, learn continuously and take ownership
- Able to balance delivery, control, regulatory and stakeholder requirements
