The Sales Operations Data Analyst will drive forecasting excellence, process optimization, and advanced analytics initiatives across our global sales organization. In this role, the candidate supports forecast accuracy improvements, leads sophisticated projects to streamline operational efficiency, and contributes to data-driven initiatives by applying advanced data processing techniques to extract, combine, and analyze data from multiple CRM and ERP sources. This role will focus on collaborating with Global Sales Leadership, Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Improve forecast reliability and accuracy for enterprise products, focusing on forecasting support and providing actionable insights for strategic accounts.
- Incorporate data insights to guide sales strategies, inform business decisions, and align with forecasting objectives.
- Assist with global data reconciliation across CRM, financial, and forecasting systems to validate data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure consistent, reliable reporting.
- Ensure data hygiene in Salesforce and forecasting platforms by managing product updates, system configurations, pricing analysis and conducting regular pipeline reviews.
- Establish metrics to measure forecasting performance, pipeline health, and data quality, and pinpoint areas for process improvement.
- Provide hands-on support to the sales team by managing pipeline data, sales attainment dashboards, troubleshooting system issues, and delivering training and tools to enable efficient forecasting workflows.
- Support forecasting projects, process automation, and analytics improvements to improve sales projections and operational scalability.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify data inconsistencies, patterns, trends, and correlations in large data sets.
- Support the identification and resolution of data anomalies, working closely with stakeholders to address issues promptly.
- Extract reliable data from various sources to identify key insights and opportunities and challenges our clients should act on.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and provide accurate and actionable recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- 5+ years of data analytics experience; leading multiple projects of various scope/complexity from initiation to closeout, with data quality as a focus.
- Exceptional data expertise in all aspects of data analysis, insights creation, and visualization.
- Advanced CRM and ERP data processing skills, including building advanced reports and queries.
- Strong flexibility to work with a variety of application development applications.
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, adaptive, and strong client-focused mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), experience with Python, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
- Background in supporting instrument manufacturing and life science products in forecasting or revenue planning is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks with tight timelines.
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
- Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and crafting solutions without a defined guideline.
- Strong work ethic and highly developed problem-solving skills.
- Enjoy working under time constraints and can excel under pressure.
