Your responsibilities
As Project Logistics Manager at Combi lift, you will lead the strategic planning and end-to-end execution of logistics for complex, high-value EPC projects. You will define and implement execution strategies, select and manage service providers, and oversee multimodal transport—including heavy-lift and oversized cargo— while ensuring deliveries meet schedule, budget, quality, and HSE requirements. Acting as the central link between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will optimize cost, mitigate risks, and safeguard compliance, directly influencing project success and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive logistics execution plans for inbound, outbound, and onsite material flows
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement to align schedules with fabrication and delivery timelines
- Identify optimal transport modes, routes, and handling procedures for oversized, heavy-lift, and hazardous cargo
- Manage end-to-end freight operations, including booking, tracking, expediting, and marine chartering
- Negotiate rates and service agreements with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport subcontractors
- Ensure customs clearance processes meet regulatory and project requirements
- Act as the primary logistics contact for project management, suppliers, freight providers, and site teams
- Monitor budgets, track performance against KPIs, and implement cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, HSE requirements, and quality standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop the project logistics team
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline
- 8–12 years of logistics experience, including at least 5 years in EPC or large-scale industrial projects
- Proven expertise in heavy-lift, oversized cargo, and complex international transport
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs regulations, and shipping documentation
- Experience in marine chartering, port operations, and freight contract negotiations
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and project management tools
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities
- Knowledge of HSE standards for cargo handling and transport
- Effective communicator with proven stakeholder engagement skills
