The Senior NPI Planning & Service Enablement Engineer serves as the APAC focal point for New Product Introduction (NPI) planning, service capability deployment, and operational readiness across the Keysight service network. Working within a centralized global Service Enablement organization, this role is responsible for transforming product launch requirements into executable regional deployment strategies that ensure service readiness, capacity availability, technician preparedness, and operational scalability.
The position acts as the bridge between Global NPI teams, Product Divisions, Regional Service Centers, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations leadership to proactively identify capability gaps, mitigate deployment risks, and ensure successful launch of new products and services across APAC.
Success in this role requires strong program management, technical operations knowledge, strategic planning capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and geographies.
Responsibilities
Global NPI Planning & Regional Readiness
- Serve as the APAC lead for NPI planning activities within the Global Service Enablement organization.
- Translate global product introduction plans into regional deployment and readiness strategies.
- Drive comprehensive readiness assessments covering capability, capacity, equipment, tooling, training, documentation, and operational support requirements.
- Participate in global NPI planning forums and represent APAC service requirements during product launch planning.
- Establish and maintain regional launch roadmaps aligned with global NPI schedules and business priorities.
- Ensure operational handoff from NPI implementation into steady-state service execution.
Capability & Capacity Planning
- Assess regional service capability requirements for upcoming NPIs across all APAC service locations.
- Identify future gaps in skills, equipment, test stations, tooling, facilities, and operational resources.
- Develop mitigation plans to address readiness risks before product launch.
- Partner with regional leaders to build scalable capability deployment plans supporting future growth.
- Provide visibility into regional demand, deployment status, resource constraints, and readiness risks.
- Support strategic decisions regarding regional service footprint expansion and capability placement.
Service Enablement & Deployment Governance
- Lead cross-functional deployment planning activities across service centers, operations, product divisions, and supply chain organizations.
- Drive execution of service capability deployments including equipment procurement, station qualification, documentation release, and training readiness.
- Establish governance processes and readiness review mechanisms to ensure successful launch execution.
- Monitor deployment milestones and escalate risks impacting launch schedules or customer readiness.
- Facilitate post-launch reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Forecasting, Risk Management & Portfolio Visibility
- Maintain visibility to the regional NPI portfolio and future launch pipeline.
- Analyze product introduction forecasts and anticipate service enablement requirements.
- Develop risk assessments and readiness scorecards for leadership review.
- Identify opportunities for resource sharing, standardization, and capability optimization across the APAC network.
- Support scenario planning and capacity modeling activities to improve decision making and operational preparedness.
Training & Operational Readiness
- Coordinate technician enablement strategies for new products and capabilities.
- Ensure training plans, certification requirements, documentation, and operational procedures are completed prior to launch.
- Partner with subject matter experts and Product Divisions to establish sustainable knowledge transfer processes.
- Drive consistent deployment standards and best practices across APAC service locations.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption of standardized NPI planning processes, tools, and reporting frameworks.
- Develop executive-level visibility into readiness status, capability deployment progress, and forecasted risks.
- Leverage operational data to improve planning accuracy and deployment effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to streamline NPI execution and reduce time-to-service readiness.
- Support transformation initiatives focused on global capability planning and service network optimization.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in NPI, service operations, manufacturing operations, technical program management, or product deployment.
- Strong understanding of operational readiness, capacity planning, and service delivery processes.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and global teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and risk management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Preferred
- Experience supporting complex electronic test and measurement products.
- Experience with global product launch or service deployment programs.
- Knowledge of service operations, calibration, repair, or technical support environments.
- Experience with capacity planning, forecasting, and operational analytics.
- Familiarity with NEST, SAP, Power BI, or equivalent operational planning and reporting tools.
- PMP, Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
