Your Mission

As Global Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead the central BI team and oversee the end-to-end Business Intelligence landscape. From data integration and data warehousing to dashboards, reporting, governance, and stakeholder engagement, you will ensure our BI services deliver measurable business value.

Working closely with business leaders, IT teams, local BI teams, and external partners, you will define priorities, manage the BI roadmap, and continuously improve our BI maturity. You will balance innovation, operational excellence, governance, data quality, security, and cost efficiency while coaching and developing a high-performing BI organization.

What You'll Do

As Global Business Intelligence Manager, you play a key role in transforming data into a strategic asset for Bleckmann. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the global BI vision, ensuring that data, reporting, and analytics capabilities support both operational excellence and long-term business objectives.

You will lead the global BI team and create an environment where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement thrive. By partnering closely with business stakeholders, local teams, and IT colleagues, you will identify opportunities to improve decision-making through data and translate business needs into scalable BI solutions.

A significant part of your role will involve driving the evolution of our BI landscape. You will oversee the development and optimization of data platforms, integrations, reporting environments, and analytics capabilities, ensuring reliability, performance, and a consistent user experience across regions and business functions.

You will also act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by providing insights into business performance, helping define KPI frameworks, and ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and actionable information. Through strong governance and data quality standards, you will help establish confidence in the data used throughout the organization.

In addition, you will:

  • Define, maintain, and execute the global Business Intelligence roadmap aligned with Bleckmann's strategic objectives.
  • Lead and coach a team of BI professionals while fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and prioritize BI initiatives.
  • Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of reporting, dashboards, analytics, and data warehouse solutions.
  • Ensure high standards for data governance, quality, security, and compliance.
  • Promote self-service analytics and support business users in maximizing the value of available data.
  • Manage vendor relationships, software contracts, licenses, and BI-related budgets.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure efficient, reliable, and scalable BI operations.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in data and analytics, and evaluate opportunities to further strengthen Bleckmann's BI capabilities.

What You'll Bring

You combine strong leadership capabilities with a solid technical understanding of modern Business Intelligence environments.

We are looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Data, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience within Business Intelligence, analytics, data engineering, or data platform environments, including leadership experience.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams.
  • A strong understanding of the complete BI lifecycle, including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, data modelling, analytics, and reporting.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and reporting tools such as Snowflake and Tableau (or similar technologies).
  • Knowledge of SQL, APIs, data governance, GDPR, information security, and data quality management.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
