We’re one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, with a network that covers more than 50 countries and territories. We aim to be where the growth is, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and, ultimately, helping people fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Digital Product Manager, you’ll take a customer-first product vision from idea to reality—turning strategy into an actionable roadmap, guiding a cross-functional team through discovery and delivery, and continuously improving journeys through insight, data and experimentation. If you thrive in a regulated, fast-moving environment and love building simple, seamless digital experiences that make a real difference, this is your next step.

As an HSBC employee in the UK, you’ll have access to tailored professional development opportunities and a competitive pay and benefits package. This includes private healthcare for all UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption pay and support when you return to work, and a contributory pension scheme with a generous employer contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Execution: Own the roadmap and delivery for specific customer journeys or features. You will ensure your product area aligns tightly with the broader product vision, business strategy, and brand standards.
  • Discovery: Drive continuous discovery within your team to uncover customer friction points and de-risk delivery. You will work closely with design, engineering, and risk teams to validate solutions before building them.
  • Delivery: Guide a cross-functional agile team to consistently deliver value. You will focus on the continuous improvement of the digital experience, measuring your success by the tangible impact on customer outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with teams across the business-including product, design, engineering, and risk—to ensure a cohesive, outstanding customer experience at every touchpoint.
  • Innovation: Identify practical, new ways of solving customer problems. You will explore emerging interaction models and utilise modern tooling to keep our digital platforms competitive and highly effective.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven track record building, launching and managing market-leading consumer focused digital products end-to-end, ideally in a complex, regulated and/or agile environment
  • Strong customer empathy with the ability to convert user research and behavioural data into simple, intuitive digital journeys
  • Confident stakeholder manager who can influence across disciplines and align teams around shared outcomes
  • Highly organised, with strong judgement in prioritisation, backlog management and navigating trade-offs in delivery
  • Clear, persuasive communicator—comfortable setting direction, defining success metrics and keeping teams focused on customer value
  • Curiosity and practical interest in emerging technologies (e.g., AI) and how they can enhance customer experiences in real-world banking contexts

Opening up a world of opportunity.
