Senior Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network systems, supporting our banking operations. Your expertise will contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our technology operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network solutions to meet business requirements.
• Manage and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing timely support to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other technology systems.
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices.
• Document network architecture, configurations, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Conduct regular network audits and security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of CCNP certification or equivalent, with a strong understanding of core networking concepts.
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a proven track record in designing and managing complex network environments.
• Experience in the banking industry is preferred, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry-specific network challenges.
• Strong proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques to ensure optimal network performance.
• Good understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
