At Vallourec, we are seeking individuals whose passion and dedication match the strength and resilience of the steel we produce. The Regional Engineering Manager leads engineering services that support southern manufacturing facilities across Service Operations and Mass Production South. These manufacturing facilities are located in Houston, TX and Muskogee, OK. This role provides strategic and technical leadership for capital projects, engineering resources, and continuous improvement initiatives while overseeing multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The location of this role is 19210 E Hardy Rd, Houston, TX 77073 with an expectation to be on-site at 8603 Sheldon Rd, Houston, TX 77049 once per week. Expected travel to Muskogee, OK 2-4 times per quarter. Possibility of international travel 1-2 times per year.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Lead and manage engineering teams supporting southern manufacturing facilities
  • Support and coordinate CAPEX planning and execution
  • Oversee engineering design, development and implementation efforts
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, process engineering and quality teams
  • Manage engineering budgets, schedules, resources and project timelines
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Identify and implement best available technologies and innovative solutions
  • Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations to senior leadership
  • Coordinate third-party and global engineering support resources
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous learning

What Sets You Apart

We’re looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience
  • Experience leading engineering teams and capital projects
  • Knowledge of heavy manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency with CAD, FEA and project management software
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • English required; Spanish, French, or Portuguese a plus
