Requisition Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong critical thinking skills. The team member will utilize his/her skill sets to perform financial analysis and reporting, identify process improvements and implement best practices as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing team and PACCAR Truck divisions.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and analyze component cost change forecast and develop related reports and summaries, highlighting key cost drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities for margin improvement.
  • Track, validate, and report cost savings initiatives against saving goals, ensuring accurate and timely savings measurement of results.
  • Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, and business case evaluations to support strategic and operational business needs.
  • Prepare and update executive and management presentation materials, translating financial data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing data-driven solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives and perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to changing business demands in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills required and interest in AI tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, research and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail with “big picture” focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with co-workers and others.
  • Positive attitude and “can-do” approach to issue resolution.

Education

  • BA in Accounting or Finance with 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus.
