Senior Sales Engineer 

 

Role Purpose:

As a Senior Sales Engineer, the successful candidate will drive business growth by developing new opportunities, managing strategic customer relationships, and delivering innovative solutions across a wide range of industries. This is an exciting opportunity to combine both technical expertise and commercial acumen while working in a collaborative and international environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across the business
  • Build, manage, and expand strategic customer accounts through strong relationships with decision-makers, engineers, consultants, OEMs, system integrators and end users
  • Understand customer applications and operational challenges to recommend tailored automation solutions that deliver measurable business value
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, quotations, product presentations, demonstrations, and solution workshops
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Service, and regional teams to deliver seamless customer solutions and successful project execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities and strengthen market positioning
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and commercial processes

Role Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of sales, business development, or application engineering experience within the industrial automation industry
  • Strong technical understanding of Process Automation and/or Factory Automation technologies, industrial control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, developing new business opportunities, and managing key customer accounts
  • Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, engineering contractors, distributors, and end users across industrial sectors
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales forecasting, pipeline management, and preparing technical and commercial proposals
  • Possess own transportation and be willing to travel extensively within Singapore
