We are seeking a Financial Analyst for the US Capitol Police (USCP) Information Resource Management Division (IRMD) Support program. This project will provide project management, business, administrative, and records management support for the USCP’s Office of Information Services (OIS), primarily supporting the IRMD. This is a full-time position based in Washington, DC, supporting USCP onsite a minimum of two days per week, with up to three days of telework after an initial two-month full-onsite acclimation period. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

So, what will the Financial Analyst at Terrestris do?

The Financial Analyst will be full-time position for the USCP IRMD Support contract, providing financial management, budget execution, procurement, payment, reconciliation, and reporting support. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What does a typical day look like for a Financial Analyst?

You will:

  • Provide support for financial management and budget execution.
  • Assist with budget preparation, contract closeout, procurement requests, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Track and report on budget status, validate invoices, and respond to financial inquiries.
  • Work with managers and teams to ensure accurate financial data and compliance with established processes.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have:

  • Ability to successfully complete a USCP criminal history check and fingerprinting process and qualify for a USCP identification/access badge is required.
  • Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of federal budget management and execution experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis.

We will be extra impressed if you have:

  • Federal financial certifications.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Statistical tools such as Tableau.
