Following its establishment in 2012, Plzeň has grown into our fastest-growing Engineering Development Center in Europe. The center focuses on the design and development of Lear products, including complex seating mechanisms and structures, foams, coatings, plastics, and trim components. The vision for Plzen is not to work as an internal supplier for our European business units but to develop into a leading Design and Development Center working on projects for all major European OEM customer groups from concept phase through to delivery.

Job Description

You support German OEM Business Unit by transforming sales and financial data into clear insights that enable strong customer communication and informed business decisions. Working closely with Sales, Finance, and Business teams, you help drive transparency, efficiency, and performance through data, reporting, and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials and data analyses for customer meetings and business reviews.
  • Create clear customer presentations to support sales activities and business strategies.
  • Support the sales team with cost breakdowns, benchmarks, and should-cost models.
  • Track prices, volumes, and forecasts in close collaboration with Sales and Finance.
  • Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards, including Power BI solutions.
  • Develop EDI, volume, and pricing tracking overviews to improve data transparency.
  • Create and maintain team KPI scorecards and performance tracking tools.
  • Support financial planning through PPR and forecast tracking and ad-hoc analyses.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, sales support, or a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience with reporting or visualization tools, preferably Power BI.
  • Professional working proficiency in English and German.
