About the Role
As a Business Analyst within Talent & Culture, you will work with project stakeholders to analyse and synthesise information, understand the organisational context and complete business analysis activities, and ultimately elicit, document, and manage the requirements throughout the project or programme end-to-end.

What will your day look like?
As a Business Analyst, you will:
- Plan and deliver Business activities across specific projects or programme of work
- Ensure that all business analysis documentation meet ANZ’s Delivery framework standards
- Provide leadership for your project and strive for continuous improvement
- Proactively communicate with and manage stakeholder expectations
- Ensure a clear understanding of the project or programme objectives & benefits
- Establish and manage the business analysis approach and work estimates
- Provide input for the development of the project plans & schedules
- Develop requirements that are fit-for purpose and accurate
- Produce high-quality Business Analyst artefacts which are clearly defined and accurately documented
- Quality check and peer-review business analysis artefacts and deliverables of peers
- Build collaborative relationships with colleagues and business partners
- Adhere to change control processes and requirements traceability
- Identify and raise risks & issues
- Display a positive and professional attitude with a collaborative approach
- Actively support the project team in the successful delivery of projects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Talent & Culture Integrated Delivery
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst involved in medium-to-large projects of varying complexity (from low to very complex)
- Extensive experience and detailed knowledge of business analysis tasks, planning, elicitation techniques documentation, presenting and managing requirements and other business analysis artefacts.
- Extensive experience in working on a number of types and sizes of projects, including agile and hybrid delivery models
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group: with developers, architects, testers, product owners, subject matter experts, vendors, and senior stakeholders
- Experience in providing direction and support to a team of Business Analysts within a specific project/program of work
- Solid understanding of different delivery lifecycles, disciplines, and procedures
- Appreciation for difficult problems to solve them and work autonomously on tasks with significant complexity and provide leadership to the project or programme
- Demonstrated ability to ensure timely completion of the agreed deliverables
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality work.
