Java Full stack developer

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 2300000 (ie INR 15 - 23 LPA)

We are looking for experienced Java Full Stack Developers with strong hands-on expertise in Java backend development and ReactJS frontend development to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across the full technology stack, including Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, REST APIs, Microservices, Kafka, Azure, Kubernetes, and MS SQL.

Key Responsibilities• Design and develop full-stack applications using Java and ReactJS.

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot and Spring JPA.
• Build responsive and accessible frontend components using ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Integrate applications with Apache Kafka and cloud services on Microsoft Azure.
• Work with MS SQL and follow sound database design and data-modelling practices.
• Implement and work with Microservices architecture and API Gateway standards.
• Develop application integrations using appropriate integration patterns.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and QA Engineers in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.

Required Skills & Experience• 7+ years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Strong experience with ReactJS.
• Good knowledge of:
• HTML
• CSS
• JavaScript

• Experience developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and API Gateway solutions.
• Working knowledge of:
• Apache Kafka
• Kubernetes
• Azure Cloud
• MuleSoft

• Experience with MS SQL and general database/data-modelling concepts.
• Understanding of Microservices architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Preferred• Experience in the Financial Services / Banking domain.

• Strong enterprise application development experience.
• Experience working with distributed/global teams.
• Strong ReactJS experience is preferred over candidates whose primary frontend experience is with other frameworks.

EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or a related field is preferred.
