Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager focused on reconstruction to manage residential rebuild projects following water damage claims. You will take over once mitigation is complete and be responsible for executing the rebuild, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and profitable. This is a performance-based role with the opportunity to increase earnings through efficient project management and strong job execution.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential reconstruction projectsfrom post-mitigation handoff to final completion
- Review scopes and estimates (often created inXactimate) and ensure accurate execution
- Coordinate and schedulesubcontractors, materials, and inspections
- Manageproject timelines, budgets, and job profitability
- Communicate withhomeowners, adjusters, and internal teams
- Handlechange orders, supplements, and scope adjustments
- Perform site visits, quality control checks, and final walkthroughs
- Ensure projects meetcompany standards, building codes, and timelines
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience inresidential construction project management or reconstruction
- Experience managingsubcontractors and multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding ofconstruction processes, scheduling, and budgeting
- Ability to read and executescopes of work and estimates
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance-based reconstruction or restoration
- Familiarity with Xactimate or insurance scopes
- Experience with water damage rebuilds
- IICRC certifications are a plus (not required)
- GC License (NC or SC) is a plus
Compensation Structure
• Base Salary:$60,000
• Commission:Based on project performance and profitability
• Typical Annual Earnings:$90,000 – $130,000
