Full description

Sierra Select is seeking an experienced and organized Technical Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver technology and business projects across the organization. This role will work closely with IT, operations, sales, marketing, and other teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to business requirements.

The ideal candidate combines strong project-management skills with a solid understanding of technology, systems, and cross-functional business operations.

Responsibilities

* Plan and manage technical projects from initiation through completion.

* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.

* Coordinate project activities across IT, operations, sales, marketing, and external vendors.

* Develop and maintain project schedules, task assignments, budgets, and documentation.

* Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.

* Coordinate software, hardware, systems, network, and technology implementation projects.

* Facilitate project meetings and ensure timely follow-up on action items.

* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

* Manage vendor and third-party technology relationships when required.

* Ensure project requirements and deliverables are clearly documented and understood.

* Track project budgets, resources, and performance against established goals.

* Support system testing, implementation, training, and change-management activities.

* Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.

* Identify opportunities to improve project-management processes and workflows.

* Ensure projects follow established company policies, security requirements, and quality standards.

* Provide regular project updates to management and key stakeholders.

* 3–5 years of experience in technical project management, IT project management, or a related field.

* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred.

* Strong understanding of project-management methodologies and technology implementation processes.

* Experience using project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

* Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.

* Strong understanding of software, hardware, systems, networking, or business technology.

* Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors.

* Strong documentation and reporting skills.

* Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

* PMP, CAPM, Scrum, Agile, or similar certification is a plus.

* Experience in distribution, wholesale, consumer technology, or retail environments is a plus.
