Sales Engineer FA Shanghai

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Drive sales growth and market development activities within assigned industrial OEM and project accounts to achieve and exceed business objectives.
• Execute regional sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and strengthen Emerson’s market presence.
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement and relationship building.
• Gather market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and conduct market research to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide product and application support to customers, helping them identify solutions that meet their operational needs.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key customers, design institutes, channel partners, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a positive customer experience and support business success.
• Complete additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Experience supporting sales, business development, customer-facing, or commercial activities within an industrial or technical environment.
• Knowledge of industrial products, automation technologies, manufacturing processes, or related technical solutions.
• Ability to identify market opportunities and support the development of new business.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in using standard business software and digital tools.
• English reading and writing skills sufficient for business communication.
• A degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience supporting OEM customers and project-based sales activities.
• Knowledge of pneumatic products within the factory automation industry.
• Experience with electric automation products or related automation technologies.
• Understanding of industrial markets, customer applications, and automation solutions.
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and a growth mindset.
• Experience working with design institutes, engineering firms, or strategic industrial accounts.
