The opportunity to join our team

Join our Advice Technology team as a Senior Business Analyst / Functional Consultant specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365. You will lead the business and technical analysis of complex initiatives, translating business needs into clear functional, data, integration and non-functional requirements. Working closely with product owners, architects, developers, testers, data teams and business stakeholders, you will help shape solutions that are secure, scalable and sustainable. You will contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery and design through to testing, implementation and transition to support. This is an opportunity to improve processes, strengthen data quality and enable more reliable and efficient service delivery for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis across the discovery, design, build, testing, implementation and support transition phases of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams to define business problems, desired outcomes, scope and solution requirements.
  • Elicit, analyse, validate and prioritise functional, data, integration, reporting, security and non-functional requirements.
  • Model current and future-state processes, user journeys, business rules, system interactions, data flows and role-based access requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed Dynamics 365 requirements covering data structures, forms, views, workflows, automation, interfaces and reporting.
  • Facilitate workshops and design discussions, challenge assumptions and help stakeholders make informed decisions that balance value, user experience, risk and technical feasibility.
  • Support data migration, integration and testing activities, including data mapping, cleansing rules, reconciliation, API requirements, acceptance criteria, defect triage and implementation readiness

What you will bring:

  • At least seven years of business analysis experience delivering complex technology and business change, including senior-level ownership of analysis outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical Business Analyst working on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM or comparable enterprise CRM implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 configuration, customisation, entities, data models, forms, views, workflows, security roles and solution lifecycle considerations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities, including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI, with exposure to Azure integration services viewed favourably.
  • Proven capability defining requirements for APIs, third-party integrations, data migration, reporting, identity and access, and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong skills in process modelling, data analysis, requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, impact assessment and requirements traceability.
  • The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and produce precise, implementation-ready requirements in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
