Our client is a global technology company delivering advanced solutions in electronic design, testing, and measurement across a wide range of high-tech industries. 

The Information Security and Compliance team is responsible for meeting the cybersecurity needs of this global, advanced technology company, delivering security solutions and services across a range of technology domains.

What you'll be doing:

The cybersecurity engineering team is looking for an individual with a passion for applying their experience and skills to secure the organization's computing infrastructure and platforms.

  • Perform and interpret automated web application scans using Tenable Web App Scanning (WAS) and Burp Suite (Professional/Enterprise DAST)
  • Coordinate remediation efforts with development teams and track fixes through to closure
  • Help maintain and improve the organization's vulnerability management program, including scan scheduling, reporting, and metrics

What you need to be successful:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Web Application Security
  • Ability to understand and explain technical details clearly
  • Excellent communication skills, with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to independently handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Tenable Web App Scanning
  • Experience with Burp Suite DAST
  • Experience with common protocols (HTTP, TLS, DNS, SSH, etc.)
  • Experience with vulnerability management
  • Experience with PKI and certificate management
