The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting subject matter experts in development of user requirements, reviewing project deliverable and performing user acceptance testing. The Project Coordinator is also responsible for tracking project work to ensure compliance with identified timelines and scope and serves as the BA team lead for the Quality Assurance and Administrative Support Unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives across the project team.
  • Manages submission and tracking of system defects and change requests related to assigned system components.
  • Provides weekly reports indicating the status of pending reports to ensure statutory deadlines are met.
  • Manages work associated with addressing data quality records.
  • Reviews user requirements/user stories and functional specifications for system development, enhancements or configuration and supports associated system user acceptance testing, deployment, problem resolution, and end-user support activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7 years’ experience in developing business, functional and user requirements for IT systems.
  • 7 years’ knowledge of business analysis process, principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle with focus on the user requirements and UAT.
  • Knowledge/experience relevant to Project Management needs.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Highly Desired – 2 years’ experience performing similar work in the Child Welfare or other Human Services Field.
  • Highly Desirable – IIBA certification
