Job Title: Python Data Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer for the development of cutting-edge digital solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Python, Databricks, AWS, PostgreSQL, and AI frameworks combined with excellent stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Development:
  • Develop and implement solutions using Python, Databricks, AWS services, and PostgreSQL
  • Ensure system design aligns with business requirements and scalability needs
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Quality & Delivery:
  • Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality
  • Domain Expertise:
  • Develop and maintain accurate short and long range pharma forecasts using analytical methods, historical trends, and cross functional inputs
  • Partner with global and regional teams (marketing, finance, market access) to gather requirements and deliver insights, presentations, and concept notes
  • Perform business analysis, sensitivity modeling, and data management while leveraging tools like SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and basic Python for automation
  • Provide strategic guidance on assumptions, risks, and opportunities, continuously optimizing pharmaceutical forecasting processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications and data solution
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines on Databricks using Python to enable scalable data processing and analytics
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including query tuning and performance optimization
  • Working knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data integration solutions
  • Understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile development methodologies
  • Working with internal AI tools and platforms
  • Tool design for AI agents

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
