Technical Product Manager – Product Performance

As products evolve, complexity often follows. This role exists to keep the portfolio healthy, sustainable and fit for the future.
As our Technical Product Manager – Product Performance, you'll be accountable for product sustainability, lifecycle governance and portfolio simplification across the Business Product portfolio. You'll provide the visibility, governance and leadership needed to ensure products remain commercially effective, technically sustainable and aligned to long-term business objectives.
Working across Product, Technology, Architecture, Commercial and Operations teams, you'll identify risks, opportunities and areas of complexity, helping the business make informed decisions about product investment, optimisation, transition and retirement. Using data, insights and commercial judgement, you'll drive initiatives that improve portfolio health, reduce complexity and support future growth.

- Significant experience in Technical Product Management, Product Lifecycle Management or portfolio optimisation within a technology-led environment.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications products, platforms, infrastructure and service ecosystems.
- Proven experience leading product simplification, optimisation, migration, remediation or lifecycle transformation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of product architecture, integrations and dependencies, with the ability to identify risks and drive sustainable outcomes.
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving capability, balancing customer, technical and business considerations.
- The ability to identify systemic issues, assess risk and develop practical long-term solutions.
- Experience influencing architecture, technology and service design decisions that impact portfolio performance and sustainability.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business outcomes.
- Demonstrated leadership through expertise, credibility, ownership and accountability.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for simplification, optimisation and long-term product sustainability.
