Senior Full Stack Python Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Experience: 7+ Years Industry: Financial Services

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in Python, Angular, and MongoDB to support the development and enhancement of enterprise applications within a large financial services environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both frontend and backend development, building scalable applications, developing APIs, and working collaboratively with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Angular, and MongoDB.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Build responsive, scalable frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Design and optimize database queries and data models using MongoDB.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, improve performance, and maintain code quality.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application deployments.
  • Follow software engineering best practices within an Agile development environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on Python development experience.
  • Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Experience developing applications using MongoDB.
  • Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of full-stack application architecture.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing enterprise applications in financial services or banking.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with microservices and distributed applications.
  • Knowledge of automated testing and application performance optimization.
