As we expand our global footprint into India and build out our Product & Engineering teams in Pune, we are seeking a Software Engineer II. In this role, you will take ownership of the platform and infrastructure your teams build on, working with cutting-edge technologies, receiving coaching and support to reach your full potential, and helping establish our foundational engineering presence in the region.

About the Role

As a Platform Operations Engineer II, your primary responsibility will be to ensure our products deliver a secure, available, reliable, and scalable experience, with a particular focus on our FedRAMP authorized environment. Specifically, your focus will be to:

  • Build, operate, and scale the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that our product teams depend on.
  • Develop and maintain internal automation that improves the efficiency, reliability, and security of microservice operations and deployments.
  • Learn and take ownership of existing platform systems, operational workflows, and runbooks.
  • Regularly monitor applications and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improving operational efficiencies and MTTR.
  • Participate actively in on-call rotation, incident response workflows, and post-incident root cause reviews.
  • Contribute to design discussions and architectural decisions around operational improvements, tooling, and SRE frameworks.

The skills and qualities you'll bring include

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or site reliability engineering, with hands-on experience managing public cloud infrastructure at scale across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting alongside container orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Practical experience designing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
  • Direct experience with observability and monitoring tooling such as Grafana or Prometheus, including defining operational alerts and tracking performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with modern agentic development practices, configuration management using Ansible, automated CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Atlantis.
  • Exposure to or familiarity with FedRAMP compliance requirements and working within authorized cloud environments.
  • Capability for Strategic Doing by taking defined operational challenges, breaking larger goals into smaller execution steps, and pivoting where necessary to achieve outcomes.
  • Personal Accountability for holding self and others responsible for driving operational outcomes, maintaining system availability, and meeting commitments.
  • Readiness for Navigating Change & Ambiguity while learning existing systems, taking over runbooks, and adapting to evolving high-growth environments.
  • Strong Cross-Functional Collaboration skills to build global networks, work across team boundaries, and partner with product engineering squads to deliver sustainable platform improvements.
  • Clear Communication skills both written and verbal to convey technical objectives, rationale, and customer-focused solutions.
