We are looking to hire a Senior Product Manager to join the Access Management and Governance (AMG) team. AMG builds the control layer for enterprise access across Microsoft Entra, and owns Entra ID Governance, Privileged Identity Management, tenant governance, Workload ID, and Entra Agent ID. Our products define how organizations grant, review, and revoke access for employees, partners, workloads, and AI agents, across Microsoft and non-Microsoft systems. In this role you will shape how enterprises maintain a continuously accurate picture of who and what holds access, and how they act on it.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for security and identity-related products and services.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, research, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative customer-facing solutions.
  • Engage customers and partners to understand needs, validate scenarios, gather feedback, and inform product decisions.
  • Translate customer, market, and business opportunities into clear product requirements and execution plans.
  • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes.
  • Prioritize investments and features based on customer impact, business value, technical feasibility, and strategic goals.
  • Define success metrics, monitor product performance, and communicate results and impact to leadership.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by partnering with marketing, sales, and business teams to drive adoption and customer success.
  • Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges across security, identity, governance, compliance, access management, and related technology domains.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Adopt an AI first mindset and implement AI tools as needed

Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development• OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development• OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in AI-native PM experience
  • Knowledge of identity, security, governance, compliance, cloud security, or Microsoft Security/Entra technologies.
  • 2+ years experience taking a product, feature, or experience to market (e.g., design, addressing product market fit, and launch, internal tool/framework).
  • 4+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 4+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • Experience delivering customer-facing products in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Product strategy, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing products that serve both external customers and large-scale internal enterprise consumers simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive complex migration programs involving legacy infrastructure, multiple stakeholders, and escalation-heavy timelines.
  • Track record of shipping security or infrastructure products in Azure or comparable hyperscale cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of non-human identity (workload identity, managed identity, service principal, SPIFFEE) security patterns and challenges.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year.
