As the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst I, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining data interchange systems at Jazwares! You will analyze business needs to develop efficient data transfer processes between internal departments and external partners, support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of EDI systems, and provide targeted training to end-users. What You Will Do:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for internal and external stakeholders on all EDI-related issues, providing on-call technical support for production EDI systems

• Monitor, audit, and maintain interfaces between business systems to ensure seamless data exchanges with internal and external partners

• Collaborate with internal teams and EDI vendors to drive supplier onboarding, optimize transaction processing, and ensure compliance with trading partner requirements

• Diagnose and proactively resolve complex EDI issues, coordinating with technical and business teams to track activity metrics for senior management

• Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of new EDI applications, maps, and batch processes throughout their entire lifecycle

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including supplier integration mappings, process guidelines, and audit reports

• Assist in developing a strategic roadmap for EDI advancements and drive continuous process improvements for EDI workflows

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in EDI or a highly related technical field
  • Proficiency in software programming and coding languages, specifically XML, CSV, SQL, C++, and Java
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture
  • Familiarity with industry-standard EDI transaction codes (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 860, 940, 945) or equivalent supply chain transaction experience
  • Experience with common connectivity methods for EDI and working with Value-Added Networks (VANs)
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple initiatives independently and troubleshoot complex issues
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to provide effective end-user tr aining and collaborate in a team environment

Nice To Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus

• UX design experience

The base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.

Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes a Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave. Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
