As a Financial Analyst II, you will analyze financial operations and information to provide decision-making support to executive staff, helping inform financial planning and business decisions while supporting the growing Cancer Institute research portfolio. In this role, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making, advance research initiatives, and support efforts to improve patient care while furthering the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
This is a regular PRN position, with caregivers working remotely between 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
To be considered for this role, caregivers must be local to Northeast Ohio (NEO).
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
- Provide support to management and other staff members regarding financial reporting and related issues.
- Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning.
- Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and two years financial or revenue cycle management or general analytical experience
- OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience
- OR Associate’s degree and four years of experience
- OR Master’s degree and one year of experience
- OR Cleveland Clinic Finance Fellow experience and one year of experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Master’s degree
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Account (CMA) certification
- Healthcare experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
- In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
