About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Real Estate & Facilities to join our Facilities & Real Estate team. In this role, you will lead a wide range of facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, and capital investment projects across our main Dutch locations in Almelo and Eindhoven. Projects may include building renovations, utility upgrades, laboratory and production support projects, sustainability initiatives, workplace improvements, and asset replacement programmes. While the primary focus is on our Dutch sites, you may also support strategic projects at international locations as business needs evolve. This is a hands-on role requiring strong project management skills, technical understanding, stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
What you'll be doing
- Lead facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, and capital projects from concept through completion.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, business cases, and implementation plans.
- Manage building upgrades, utility improvements, maintenance-related investments, and workplace projects.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Facilities, Maintenance, HSE, Operations, Finance, and business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, applicable regulations, and safety requirements.
- Manage project risks and ensure appropriate mitigation plans are implemented.
- Provide regular project updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Support sustainability, energy reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering facilities, engineering, infrastructure, or capital projects in a manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, or technical environment.
- Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and risks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Fluent in English. Dutch language skills are preferred.
